SHAKE-TABLE TEST OF A 4-STORY FRAME-WALL RC STRUCTURE TO INVESTIGATE THE COLLAPSE MECHANISM AND SAFETY LIMIT

After an earthquake, it is important to judge the safety of buildings and make efficient recovery plan. For that, necessary know quantitatively damage level limit buildings. An evaluation method residual seismic capacity described in Japanese Standard for Post-earthquake Damage Level Classification Buildings; however, does not consider difference deformation members such as walls frames (columns beams). Even though methods were proposed previous research RC buildings, focus has been mainly moment-resting frames. Moreover, enough experimental investigation done verify application these methods. In this research, a new collapse mechanism dual structures, which have with different capacity, was proposed.
